Quality Leather Goods
from
Barnes & Moore
Barnes & Moore's ethical stance and genuine passion for detail is evident in every product they craft. Their commitment to quality is clear, so we've chosen to highlight them this week.
Among the few remaining traditional tanneries worldwide, one of Barnes & Moore's suppliers stands out: a British tannery that specializes in ‘oak bark’ tanned leather. This artisanal process involves genuine oak bark and takes 12 months for each hide to develop its unique character. The leather produced here is not just durable; it embodies a legacy of skill and tradition.
We remain dedicated to celebrating brands who utilise materials and practises that reflect our passion for excellence, ensuring that the products we stock stand the test of time both on the road and in your everyday life.
Barnes & Moore invest significant time and effort in sourcing the finest materials. Their leathers come from some of the world's top tanneries, where the pursuit of quality aligns perfectly with their own standards and ethos. These materials are then expertly made into belts, wallets and more, in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
The buckle on Barnes & Moore's Garrison belt is hand-cast to exact specifications by Britain’s last remaining sand cast foundry, which is based in the West Midlands and holds a Royal Warrant from the Queen. All hardware pieces are made from solid brass or copper and finished to perfection.
